The primary goal of financial aid is to assist students who, without such aid, would be unable to attend college. The college financial aid office administers grants, loans, scholarships and part-time employment. To learn more about student financial aid programs, visit www.students.gov (federal Web site), www.collegefortexans.com (state Web site), and www.dcccd.edu (college Web site). To reflect changes in students eligibility and needs and changes in the cost of attendance, applications are required annually. Financial aid is awarded for one academic year at a time. It is important to read all information carefully to ensure compliance with regulations governing receipt and maintenance of financial aid funds. |
