This certificate offers multiple specialty options for development of networking systems engineer, software developer, database administrator, and systems administrator. The program also provides preparatory training for those wishing to take the MCSE, MCDBA, MCSD, MCSA, and MCAD certification examinations. NOTE: Students must select and complete one specialty track to be considered as having met the requirement for this award.

Prerequisite: For all Tracks, basic understanding of networking essentials/terminology and operating systems as obtained in ITMC 1401 and ITSC 1401 or BCIS 1405 or COSC 1401 or equivalent experience approved by designated Information Technology personnel. MCSD Track requires problem solving and logic structures as obtained in ITSC 2435.
