This is a new award effective Summer 2003. COMPUTER INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY -- NETWORK ADMINSTRATIONEastfield Only (Associate in Applied Sciences Degree) (Students pursuing this AAS program are required to meet all TASP requirements) Degree Plan Code: AAS.CIT.NETWRK.ADMIN This applied associate in science degree will provide education and training for individuals interested in developing their knowledge and skills needed for working as an entry level network administrator. Upon completing this applied associate degree, students will be prepared to take the A+ and NetPlus certification exams. Course(s) may be substituted for ITSC 1401, BCIS 1405, or COSC 1401 for those who demonstrate current computer literacy. SEMESTER I

+ Social/Behavioral Science Elective must be selected from the DCCCD approved course list. ++Humanities/Fine Arts elective must be selected from any 3-credit hour course contained in the DCCCD approved list for Humanities/Fine Arts. NOTE: Students enrolling in this program who plan to transfer to a four-year institution should consult an advisor or counselor regarding transfer requirements and the transferability of these courses to the four-year institution of their choice. |
