PHOT 1316 Introduction To Photography And Photojournalism (3)
Former course prefix/number PHO 110. Common Course Number is COMM 1316. Prerequisite: None. Photography and photojournalism are introduced. Topics include the general mechanics of camera lenses and shutters and the general characteristics of photographic films, papers, and chemicals. Darkroom procedures are presented, including enlarging, processing, contact printing, and exposing films and papers. Artificial lighting is introduced. (2 Lec., 4 Lab)

PHOT 2325 Introduction to Digital Imaging (3)

PHOT 2326 Advanced Digital Imaging (3)
Former course prefix/number PHO 125. Common Course Number is COMM 2326. Prerequisite: Photography 2325 is required. In addition, Photography 1316 or Art 1370 is recommended. This course will explore in greater depth the applications covered in the Introduction to Digital Photography (Photography 2325) class.
