Emphasis Degrees

ASSOCIATE in ARTS (A.A.) DEGREE EMPHASIS in PHOTOGRAPHIC/IMAGING

This is an "Emphasis" degree. Students should read and understand the paragraphs below.

This degree plan is designed to meet the needs of students who plan to transfer to a four-year college/university with a major in Photographic/Imaging. Students planning to continue their Photographic/Imaging studies as a transfer student should check specific requirements at the transfer institution. This is a general plan and it may not satisfy all the requirements of a specific transfer four-year college/university. Students should work closely with an academic advisor/counselor.

In order to be eligible to receive this degree, a student must:

  1. Complete a minimum of 61 credit hours including all the required courses listed;
  2. Earn a grade of "C" or better in English 1301, Speech 1311, and the selected college-level Mathematics Course;
  3. Receive a GPA (2) of at least 2.00 ("C"); and
  4. Meet all TASP requirements.

Note: Students who complete this plan are awarded the Associate in Arts Degree in Photographic/Imaging.
