Emphasis Degrees
ASSOCIATE in ARTS (A.A.) DEGREE EMPHASIS in URBAN EDUCATION This degree plan is designed to meet the needs of students who plan to major in Urban Education and pursue a teaching career. This plan will transfer directly into the Bachelor of Arts degree in Child Studies (with EC4 and EC4 Bilingual teacher certification) at UT Arlington. It will also transfer directly into the Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (with EC4 and EC4 Bilingual teacher certification) at Texas Woman's University. Students should work closely with an advisor if they plan to transfer into teacher certification programs at other universities. In order to be eligible to receive this degree, a student must:
