EDUC 1301 Introduction to Education (3) This is a commom course number. Prerequisite: None. A study of the role and responsibilities of teachers and school organizations, including an enriched integrated pre-service course and content experience that: 1) provides active recruitment and support of undergraduates interested in a teaching career; 2) provides students with opportunities to participate in early field experiences; 3) provides students with support from college and school faculty in small cohort groups, introducing and analyzing the culture of schooling and classrooms.
