EDUC 1301 Introduction to Education (3) This is a commom course number. Prerequisite: None. A study of the role and responsibilities of teachers and school organizations, including an enriched integrated pre-service course and content experience that: 1) provides active recruitment and support of undergraduates interested in a teaching career; 2) provides students with opportunities to participate in early field experiences; 3) provides students with support from college and school faculty in small cohort groups, introducing and analyzing the culture of schooling and classrooms. EDUC 1325 Principles and Practices of Multicultural Education (3) This is a commom course number. Prerequisite: None. An examination of cultural diversity found in society and reflected in the classroom.
