CETT 1331   Technical Programming (3)

Prerequisite: Credit or concurrent enrollment in MATH 1414 or the equivalent.
Introduction to a high level programming language such as BASIC, PASCAL, or "C". Topics include structured programming and problem solving as they apply to technical applications. (2 Lec., 4 Lab.)

Prerequisite: None.
DC Circuits is a study of the fundamentals of direct current including Ohm's law, Kirchoff's laws and circuit analysis techniques. Emphasis on circuit analysis of resistive networks and DC measurements. (3 Lec., 3 Lab.)

Prerequisite: CETT 1403.
AC Circuits is a study of the fundamentals of alternating current including series and parallel AC circuits, phasors, capacitive and inductive networks, transformers, and resonance. (3 Lec., 3 Lab.)

Prerequisite: None.
An entry level course in digital electronics covering number systems, binary mathematics, digital codes, logic gates, Boolean algebra, Karnaugh maps, and combinational logic. Emphasis on circuit logic analysis and troubleshooting digital circuits. (3 Lec., 3 Lab.)

Prerequisite: CETT 1403 and credit or concurrent enrollment in CETT 1405.
Solid State Devices is a study of diodes and bipolar semiconductor devices, including analysis of static and dynamic characteristics, bias techniques, and thermal considerations of solid state devices. (3 Lec., 3 Lab./3 Lec., 2 Lab.)

CETT 1457   Linear Integrated Circuits (4)

Prerequisite: CETT 1429.
A study of the characteristics, operations, stabilization, testing, and feedback techniques of linear integrated circuits. Application in computation, measurements, instrumentation, and active filtering. (3 Lec., 3 Lab.)

CETT 2337   Microcomputer Control (3)
This is a WECM course number. Former course prefix/number ENGT 2475 or SEMI 2371.
Prerequisite: CETT 1425.
A study of microprocessors and microcomputers with an emphasis on embedded controllers for industrial and commercial applications. Topics include RAM, ROM and input/output (I/O) interfacing. Introduction to programming. (2 Lec., 2 Lab.)
