PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN -- CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANTCedar Valley only (Skills Achievement Award) (Students pursuing this award program are waived from TASP requirements.) Degree Plan Code: SA.CERT.NURS.ASST This certificate program teaches basic nursing skills needed for entry-level positions in a variety of health care organizations. Students completing this program will be able to provide care to patients under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse. Successful completion of the classroom portion is mandatory to progress to the clinical practicum. Upon successful completion of classroom study and clinical practicum, students will receive the Certified Nursing Assistant Skills Achievement Award.
