To help meet your transfer needs, Cedar Valley College is a member of the Texas Common Course Numbering System Consortium. All Texas community/junior colleges participate in this system. Most universities are cooperating with this new numbering system indicating courses equivalent to the common course system.

Colleges teach courses similar in nature, and these courses have been designated by a common number. The common number facilitates the transfer of these courses between and among the participating institutions. Further in this catalog you will find course descriptions for every course offered at Cedar Valley College. Course descriptions will indicate if a course has been assigned a common course number. You should not assume that only courses with common course numbers will transfer.
