  • Students pursuing this certificate are waived from the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) standards, but must meet course prerequisites.
  • Students must complete 25% of the degree requirements at the college awarding the degree.

Degree Plan Code: SA.ORACLE.PROF

This sequence is for students who wish to prepare for the Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification exam. At this skill level, Oracle Professionals have knowledge that will allow them to perform network administration duties of Backup/Recovery and Performance Tuning.

Prerequisite: Completion of ITSE 1345/1445 and ITSE 2346/2456 or equivalent experiences approved by designated Information Technology personnel.
