This award is designed to introduce students to PL/SQL and helps them gain an understanding of this powerful programming language. These courses also provide preparatory training for those wishing to take the following certification exams: Introduction to Oracle 9i: SQL #1Z0-007, or Introduction to Oracle: SQL and PL/SQL #1Z0-147 and Oracle 9i: Program with PL/SQL. #1Z0-147.
Prerequisite: Basic understanding of personal computer and operating systems as obtained in ITSC 1401 or BCIS 1405 or COSC 1401 or equivalent experience approved by designated Information Technology personnel.
