This sequence is for students who wish to prepare for the Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) certification exam. At this apprentice skill level, Oracle Associates have a foundation knowledge that will allow them to act as a junior team member working with database administrators or application developers performing simple, operational tasks on an Oracle database with database software and graphical utilities associated with managing the database.
Prerequisite: Basic understanding of problem solving, logic structures, and relational database concepts as obtained in ITSC 2435, and either ITSW 1307/1407 or ITSE 1346 or equivalent experiences approved by designated Information Technology personnel.
