EMSP 1338 Introduction to Advanced Practice (3)
This is a WECM Course Number. Prerequisite: (1) Current CPR certification preferred, (2) Completion of Texas Department of State Health Services approved Emergency Medical Technician course or certification by the Texas Department of State Health Services or National Registry of EMT as an Emergency Medical Technician-Basic or higher, (3) Demonstrated competency in math, reading, and writing. An exploration of the foundations necessary for mastery of the advanced topics of clinical practice out of the hospital. This course is cross-listed as EMSP 1438. Introduction to the level of Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - Basic.
