ITMT 1300   Implementing and Supporting Microsoft Windows XP Professional (3) New course added April 7, 2005

Prerequisite: Basic networking course, networking experience or instructor approval.
Addresses the implementation and desktop support needs of customers that are planning to deploy and support Microsoft Windows XP Professional in a variety of stand-alone and network operating system environments. In-depth, hands-on training for Information Technology (IT) professionals responsible for the planning, implementation, management, and support of Windows XP Professional. (2 Lec., 4 Lab.)

Managing accounts and resources, maintaining server resources, monitoring server performance, and safeguarding data in a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 environment. This is the first course in the Systems Administrator and Systems Engineer tracks for Windows Server 2003 and serves as the entry point for other courses in the Windows Server curriculum.
