RUSS 1311 Introduction to Russian (3) New course added May 24, 2004
This is a Texas Common Course Number. Prerequisite: None. RUSS 1311 is an introduction to the regular Russian course sequence; it is not a substitute for RUSS 1411. The focus is on pronunciation and the communications skills using basic vocabulary and grammar. Customs and cultural insights are also presented. Students who wish to continue their studies will next enroll in RUSS 1411. This course is cross-listed as Russian 1411. The student may register for either Russian 1311 or Russian 1411, but may receive credit for only one of the two. (3 Lec., 1 Lab.)
