  • Students must earn at least 25% of the credit hours required for graduation through instruction by the college awarding the degree.

This award is designed to provide students with a complete understanding of the management of the Oracle 9i server configuration and prepare them for the foundation to rapidly deliver applications over any network. Oracle 9i databases offer increased scalability, higher security and greater reliability - capabilities that are more important than ever in an Internet world.

The award also provides preparatory training for those wishing to take the following certification exams: Oracle 9i Database: Fundamentals I #1Z0-031, Oracle 9i Database: Fundamentals II # 1Z0-032, and Oracle 9i: Program with PL/SQL #1Z0-147.

Prerequisite: Completion of Oracle Junior Application Developer Skills Achievement Award or Oracle experience approved by designated Information Technology personnel.
