TECH PREP ENHANCED SKILLS CERTIFICATES

These Enhanced Skills Certificates are attached to the Associate in Applied Sciences Degree in Travel, Exposition and Meeting Management and provides the student advanced skills required by the industry to specialize in Meeting and Convention Management, Exposition/Trade Show Management, and Travel Management.

Note: Students may not duplicate or receive credit for a course in the Enhanced Skills Certificate that students have already received credit for in the AAS degree.

MEETING AND CONVENTION MANAGEMENT

  • Students pursuing this award program are required to meet Texas Success Initiative (TSI) standards and course prerequisites.
  • Students must earn at least 25% of the credit hours required for graduation through instruction by the college awarding the degree.
