BIOL 1322 Principles of Nutrition (3) New course added May 22, 2005
This is a Texas Common Course Number. Prerequisite: None. Topics include classes, sources, and functions of nutrients, digestion and absorption, and metabolism with applications to normal and therapeutic nutritional needs. This course is cross-listed as Nutrition 1322. The student may register for either Biology 1322 or Nutrition 1322, but may receive credit for only one of the two. (3 Lec.)
