The Business Office cannot disburse financial aid awards until the student is enrolled in an eligible program of study as required by the guidelines of each applicable aid program. Before aid may be released for disbursement, attendance must be certified on or before the official certification date for each class.

For eligible students, a financial aid award will be applied to tuition and an initial disbursement (not to exceed $600) will be paid no earlier than ten days prior to the start of classes each semester.

After the tuition payment and the initial disbursement, remaining award dollars eligible for release will be disbursed to the student by the Business Office within fourteen days after the certification date of the semester. Disbursement will be made by a deposit to a student check card or by paper check sent to the student's mailing address of record.
