An introduction to the philosophy of open source and its relationship to open source software. The student will explore the history of open source as well as current open source advocacy issues. Current legal, ethical, and economic issues associated with open source software will be emphasized, and successful deployments of open source software in industry will be discussed. ITSE 2452 System Design Using Oracle Tools II (4) This is a WECM Course Number. Prerequisite: ITSE 1452 or instructor approval. A continuation of System Design Using Oracle Tools I. Topics include creating a business information model, transforming the analysis model into design level definitions, refining the data and application design, and generating databases objects using Oracle Developer and WebServer.
