Reinstatement Procedures

Students may appeal to the Financial Aid Office for reinstatement to the TEXAS Grant Program. If the suspension is due to an insufficient CGPA the student may request in writing that the hours taken in the following summer be included in the calculation. If the new calculation achieves a CGPA above 2.50, and the student is otherwise eligible, then the student may be reinstated to eligibility. If the suspension is due to a deficient completion rate (below 75%), the student must complete a full academic year and attain a completion rate of 75% or better in the following year in order to be reinstated to eligibility.
