TECA 1303 Families, School and Community (3) This is an academic transfer credit course number. Prerequisite: None. A study of the child, family, community and school, including parent education and involvement, family and community lifestyles, child abuse, and current family life issues. Students are required to participate in 15 hours of field experiences with children from infancy through age 12 in a variety of settings with varied and diverse populations.
