  • Students pursuing this award program are required to meet Texas Success Initiative (TSI) standards and course prerequisites.

This degree is designed to prepare students for various career opportunities in diesel truck and heavy equipment maintenance and repair. Emphasis is placed on heavy truck and diesel equipment systems maintenance, diagnosis and repair. Focus on operational theory, practical skills and accepted shop practice. This program is intended to provide a foundation on which the graduate can build a career through expanded experience and/or further education.
