TSI Assessment Instruments
TSI approved test instruments are ACCUPLACER, ASSET, COMPASS and Texas Higher Education Assessment (THEA), formerly known as TASP. Even though the TASP test is no longer administered, previous TASP scores will continue to be honored as directed by the THECB.
The colleges administer ACCUPLACER or ASSET, both of which are TSI state approved assessments.
