ITCC 1300   Router and Routing Basics (3) New course added March 28, 2007
This is a WECM Course Number.
Prerequisite: ITNW 1325 or instructor approval.
Basic router configuration for local area networks. Includes initial router configuration for TCP/IP; management of IOS and router configuration files, routing protocols, and access control lists. (2 Lec., 4 Lab.)

ITCC 1309   Cisco Voice and Data Cabling (3)
This is a WECM Course Number.
Prerequisite: Prior networking course, networking experience or instructor approval.
Introduces the physical aspects of Cisco voice and data network cabling and installation; skills development in reading network design documentation, part list setup and purchase, pulling and mounting cable, cable management, choosing wiring closets and path installation and termination, installing jacks and cable testing. This course may be repeated if topics and learning outcomes vary. Licensing/Certification Agency: Cisco Corporation. (2 Lec., 4 Lab.)

Prerequisite: CCNA certification or successful completion of ITCC 1446 or ITNW 1344.
A study of advanced network deployment issues and methods used to configure CISCO routers for effective LAN and WAN traffic management. Topics include designing scalable internetworks, managing traffic, configuring OSPF in single and multiple areas, configuring EIGRP, and configuring and using interior and border gateway routing protocols. ITCC 2436   CCNP 2: Remote Access (4)

Designing and building remote access networks with Cisco products. Topics include assembling and cabling WAN components, configuring network connections via asynchronous modem, ISDN, X.25, and frame relay architectures and associated protocols. Prerequisite: ITCC 2440, ITCC 2432 and ITCC 2436.
A study of troubleshooting methods for internetworks. Topics include Cisco Troubleshooting Tools, diagnosing and correcting problems with TCP/IP, Novell, and AppleTalk networks, and with Frame Relay and ISDN network connections. Licensing/Certification Agency: Cisco Corporation. (3 Lec., 4 Lab.)
