NDTE 2411 Preparation for Welding Inspection (4)
This is a WECM Course Number. Prerequisite: None. Preparation for students for certification as welding inspectors, including accepted testing requirements and procedures, measurement systems, duties and responsibilities of inspectors, destructive and nondestructive testing, quality assurance/quality control, welding codes and blueprints, procedures, and case studies. An overview of welding tools and equipment, metallurgy, chemistry, and joint design will be explored. (3 Lec., 4 Lab.)
