2006-2007 Catalog Year (Archived) Service-Learning Service-Learning combines academic instruction with active community service, utilizing critical, reflective thinking to examine the world around you and your civic responsibilities. It is a mutually beneficial partnership, allowing you to apply what you have learned in the classroom into the real world while developing new skills in a service position in the community. You get a chance to improve your critical thinking skills, explore career possibilities, and make a difference by meeting community needs and increasing community support.
