TECM 1341 Technical Algebra (3) This is a WECM Course Number. Prerequisite: One year of high school algebra and an appropriate assessment test score or Developmental Mathematics 0097 or Developmental Mathematics 0091 or equivalent. Application of algebra to technical occupations. Topics include principles of linear equations, simultaneous equations, quadratic equations, and manipulation of powers and roots. Emphasis on stated word problems relevant to technical and vocation occupations. (3 Lec.) |
