COSC 1430   Programming I (4)
This is a Texas Common Course Number.
Prerequisite: Computer Science 1315 or Computer Science 1415 or equivalent.
Introduction to computer programming in an emerging or alternative programming language. Fundamentals of structured design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation are emphasized. Topics include language syntax, control structures, and program execution logic. This course will fulfill DCCCD's degree requirements only if this course has been successfully completed and the date of completion does not exceed 10 years. This course may be repeated if topics and learning outcomes vary. (3 Lec., 3 Lab.)
