MLAB 2331 Immunohematology (3)
This is a WECM Course Number. Prerequisite: Acceptance into the Medical Laboratory Technology Program. A study of blood antigens and antibodies. Performance of routine blood banking procedures, including blood group and Rh typing, antibody screens, antibody identification, cross matching, elution, and absorption techniques. This course contains the capstone experience for the program. (2 Lec., 4 Lab.)
