CDEC 2341   The School Age Child (3)
This is a WECM Course Number.
Prerequisite: None.
Corequisite: Students will be required to submit to and pass a criminal background search by the certification date as prescribed by the program and college. Failure to comply will result in the student being dropped from the course.
A study of appropriate programs for the school age child (5 to 13 years), including an overview of development, appropriate environments, materials, and activities and teaching/guidance techniques. This course is cross-listed as CDEC 2441. The student may register for either CDEC 2341 or CDEC 2441, but may receive credit for only one of the two. (3 Lec.)

Designated by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board for transfer among community colleges and state public four year colleges and universities as freshman and sophomore general education courses.

WECM Courses
