CDEC 2341 The School Age Child (3)
This is a WECM Course Number. Prerequisite: None. Corequisite: Students will be required to submit to and pass a criminal background search by the certification date as prescribed by the program and college. Failure to comply will result in the student being dropped from the course. A study of appropriate programs for the school age child (5 to 13 years), including an overview of development, appropriate environments, materials, and activities and teaching/guidance techniques. This course is cross-listed as CDEC 2441. The student may register for either CDEC 2341 or CDEC 2441, but may receive credit for only one of the two. (3 Lec.)
