ENTC 1301   Robotics I (3)

Prerequisite: Credit or concurrent enrollment in MATH 1414 or the equivalent.
An introduction to Robots/Automation. Topics include history, terminology, classification of robots, basic components, control systems, AC and hydraulic servomechanisms, programming, sensors, types of drive, end-of-arm tooling, end effectors, safety and design procedures. (2 Lec., 3 Lab.)
