This Level II Certificate combines classroom teaching with supervised clinical and field experience for the emergency medical health professional. Upon successful completion of all course work for the certificate, the student is eligible to take the exam for certification as an Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic through the National Registry of EMT. Upon successful completion of that examination, the student is eligible to apply for certification as an EMT-Paramedic in the State of Texas.
