North Lake College has applied for Program Recognition status by the Texas Skills Standards Board (www.tssb.org) for integrating the Manufacturing Logistics and Inventory Control Standards as established by the Manufacturing Skills Standards Council (MSSC).

The Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Certificate program is designed to prepare students for entry-level employment in the logistics profession as a RFID technician/manager. The program will provide graduates with the skills required of the industry, enable graduates to seek immediate employment in the workplace, meet labor market demands, and permit greater economics competitiveness by utilizing the latest RFID theories, applications, and equipment. The program specialties include warehouse, inventory control, traffic and transportation management, and storage and distribution.
