DRCM 1372   Introduction to Mediation (3)
This is a Local Need Course.
Prerequisite: None.
Defines the process of mediation, its history and development, and theories of conflict resolution and negotiation. This course fulfills the requirements of Senate Bill 1436 for mediation training in Texas. Students also learn how to be successful third party neutrals. (3 Lec.)

Designated by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board for transfer among community colleges and state public four year colleges and universities as freshman and sophomore general education courses.
