HPRS 2231 General Health Professions
Management (2)
This is a WECM Course Number. Prerequisite: None. Exploration and application of management concepts necessary for effective health profession operations. This course incorporates and integrates principles of management such as health care delivery, strategy, and resource allocation to all forms of healthcare environments. Special emphasis is placed on finance, ethics, culture and diversity, trends, and career exploration. The study of law and ethics are intertwined into all the faucets of healthcare including case studies and enactments of legal cases. (1 Lec., 2 Lab.)
