MDCA 1417   Procedures in a Clinical Setting (4) New course added May 7, 2007
This is a WECM Course Number.
Prerequisite: MDCA 1313, MDCA 1409 and admission to the Medical Assisting Program at El Centro College.
Emphasis on patient-centered assessment, examination, intervention, and treatment as directed by physician. Includes vital signs, collection and documentation of patient information, asepsis, minor surgical procedures, and other treatments as appropriate for the medical office. (3 Lec., 2 Lab.)
