MDCA 1313   Medical Terminology (3)
This is a WECM Course Number.
Prerequisite: GED or High School Diploma and admission to program.
A study and practical application of a medical vocabulary system. Includes structure, recognition, analysis, definition, spelling, pronunciation, and combination of medical terms from prefixes, suffixes, roots, and combining forms. This course is cross-listed as MDCA 1213. The student may register for either MDCA 1313 or MDCA 1213, but may receive credit for only one of the two. (3 Lec.)
