COMPUTER INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY -- VISUAL STUDIO DEVELOPEROffered at all seven campuses (Certificate)
Degree Plan Code: C1.CIT.VISUAL.ST.08 This certificate provides programmers with skills to evaluate Microsoft.NET tools and technologies, primarily Microsoft Visual Studio.NET. The courses cover resources for creating applications, components, and services built on the .NET Framework. Note: In Semester I, students may select an introductory or advanced level Visual Basic.NET (ITSE 1432 or ITSE 2434) or Visual C#.NET (ITSE 1430 or ITSE 2453) course based on prior programming skills and knowledge approved by designated Information Technology personnel. Prerequisite: Basic understanding of personal computers and operating systems as obtained in ITSC 1401 or BCIS 1405 or COSC 1401, and problem solving and logic structures as obtained in ITSC 2435 or equivalent experience approved by designated Information Technology personnel.
