SCWK 2307   Human Behavior and the Social Environment (3)
This is a WECM Course Number.
Prerequisite: None.
Corequisite: `
A basic framework for creating and organizing knowledge of human behavior and the social environment. Introduction of social system, life span, and strength approaches to understanding human behavior and environment impact. Emphasis on the impact of human diversity, discrimination, and oppression on the individual's ability to reach or maintain optimal health and well-being. (3 Lec.)

Academic Courses
Designated by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board for transfer among community colleges and state public four year colleges and universities as freshman and sophomore general education courses.

WECM Courses
Designated by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board as workforce education (technical) courses offered for credit and CEUs (Continuing Education Units).
