ITSC 1354 Solaris Operating Environment Systems Administrations I (SA) (3)
This is a WECM Course Number.
Prerequisite: ITSC 1356 or instructor approval.
Designed for Solaris certification. Provides students with the necessary knowledge and skills to perform the essential system administration tasks in a Solaris Operating Environment. Includes stand-alone installation, file system management, backup procedures, process control, user administration, and device management. Licensing/Certification Agency: Sun Microsystems. This course is cross-listed as ITSC 1454. The student may register for either ITSC 1354 or ITSC 1454, but may receive credit for only one of the two. (2 Lec., 4 Lab.)
