CDEC 2307   Math and Science for Early Childhood (3)
This is a WECM Course Number.
Prerequisite: None.
Corequisite: Students will be required to submit to and pass a criminal background search by the certification date as prescribed by the program and college. Failure to comply will result in the student being dropped from the course.
An exploration of principles, methods, and materials for teaching children math and science concepts and process skills through discovery and play. (3 Lec.)

Academic Courses
Designated by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board for transfer among community colleges and state public four year colleges and universities as freshman and sophomore general education courses.

WECM Courses
Designated by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board as workforce education (technical) courses offered for credit and CEUs (Continuing Education Units).
