ITSY 1400 Fundamentals of Information Security (4)
This is a WECM Course Number. Prerequisite: None. Basic information security goals of availability, integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality. Vocabulary and terminology specific to the field of information security are discussed. Identification of exposures and vulnerabilities and appropriate countermeasures are addressed. The importance of appropriate planning and administrative controls is also discussed. This course is cross-listed as ITSY 1300. The student may register for either ITSY 1300 or ITSY 1400, but may receive credit for only one of the two. (3 Lec., 4 Lab.)
