ITCC 1300   Router and Routing Basics (3)

Prerequisite: ITNW 1325 or instructor approval.
Basic router configuration for local area networks. Includes initial router configuration for TCP/IP; management of IOS and router configuration files, routing protocols, and access control lists. (2 Lec., 4 Lab.)

ITCC 1309   CISCO Voice and Data Cabling (3)

Prerequisite: Prior networking course, networking experience or instructor approval.
Introduces the physical aspects of CISCO voice and data network cabling and installation; skills development in reading network design documentation, part list setup and purchase, pulling and mounting cable, cable management, choosing wiring closets and patch panel installation and termination, installing jacks and testing cable. Licensing/Certification Agency: Cisco Corporation. This course may be repeated if topics and learning outcomes vary. (2 Lec., 4 Lab.)

Internet Protocol addressing techniques, intermediate routing protocols, CLI configuration of switches, Ethernet switching, Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs), Spanning Tree Protocol, and VLAN Trunking Protocols. (2 Lec., 4 Lab.)
