COSC 1415   Introduction to Computer Science and Programming (4)
This is a Texas Common Course Number.
Prerequisite: None.
This introductory course is designed to meet the requirements for a four-year degree with a major or minor in computer science, mathematics, or a scientific field. This course focuses on problem-solving using modular design techniques implemented with a structured programming language. This course may use instructional examples and assignments from various programming languages, including but not limited to C, C++, C#, Java, and/or Perl. This course will fulfill DCCCD's degree requirements only if this course has been successfully completed and the date of completion does not exceed 10 years. (3 Lec., 3 Lab.)
