ITCC 1402 CCNA 1: Networking Basics (4) This is a WECM Course Number. Prerequisite: Advanced level of understanding of personal computers and operating systems approved by designated Information Technology personnel. A course introducing the basics of networking including network terminology, local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN). Also covers network protocols such as TCP/IP, Open System Interconnection (OSI) models, cabling and routers and subnetting. (3 Lec., 4 Lab.) |
