EDTC 1371   Teaching English Language Learners (3)
This is a Local Need Course.
Prerequisite: None.
A course in the methodology and strategies for teaching English Language Learners. Topics include terminology, teaching theories, historical and philosophical concepts, academic and cognitive development, language instruction in the appropriate context, teaching strategies, incorporation in content areas, material development, and awareness of cultural and language diversity. (3 Lec.)
