Complete at least 25% of the credit hours required for graduation through instruction by the college awarding the degree.
Students who plan to transfer must work closely with an advisor/counselor. Students should check with the transfer institution to determine the total number of transfer credits that institutions will accept. Students who do not plan to transfer may wish to look at related Associate in Applied Sciences degrees and/or certificates.

Note: State universities are required to accept only 66 hours in transfer; therefore,
it is strongly suggested that students check with their receiving university regarding the
acceptance of any credit hours over the 66 credit hour maximum. Students may have to make
a choice between completing the Field of Study or the degree.

Student's transcript will indicate the Field of Study has been completed upon successful completion of the following courses: Physics 1401 and 1402 or 2425 and 2426; Chemistry 1411; English 2311; Engineering Technology (ENGT) 1401, 1402 and 1407. The required math courses depend upon where students transfer. For math, students may select Option A or B (OPTION A: take Math 1314 or 1414 and 1316 or 2412; OR OPTION B: take Math 2414 and 2513).
