Introduction to the field of Mexican-American/Chicano/a Studies from its inception to the present. Interdisciplinary survey designed to introduce students to the salient cultural, economic, educational, historical, political, and social aspects of the Mexican-American/Chicano/a experience. (3 Lec.)

Humanities 1315 is a course designed as an introduction to the Arts: such as (but not limited to) Music, Visual, Architecture, Theatre, Dance, and Cinematic. This course focuses on the study and appreciation of the fine and performing arts and the ways in which they reflect the values of civilizations. (3 Lec.)
